Cooper Carlson
Head Coach
An assistant coach has been promoted to be the second Head Coach for the Wolfpack since its founding in 2016. Coach Carlson played lacrosse for the Duluth Chargers before going on to play at Aurora University and The University of Minnesota - Duluth where he served as a team captain his junior and senior year. Cooper graduated from UMD in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a coaching minor. He went on to receive a master’s degree in environmental health and safety in 2024.
Coach Carlson began his career with the Wolfpack as a volunteer assistant in 2018. Over the years he has held the role of U14 head coach, JV assistant, strength and conditioning coach, and varsity defensive coordinator. He also coached UMD in their 2024 and 2025 seasons.
Coach Coop leads the pack with an emphasis on family, academics, and sportsmanship.
